The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of approximately 70 images secured from the holdings of deceased found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third publication from a tranche of more than 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's property. It features photographs of excerpts from the book Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and censored photos of women's international passports.

This action occurs mere hours before the December 19th due date for the Justice Department to make public all records associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new photos bring up further queries about exactly what the DOJ has in its possession," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Images Released

Several of the photos made public on recently depict Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private jet; Bill Gates seen alongside a individual whose features is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a table facing Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent affluent, powerful men to be seen in Epstein's estate photos released by the committee - formerly disclosed photos also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photographs is is not considered proof of any illegal activity, and several of the pictured individuals have asserted they were never participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement accompanying the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not offer context or timings for the pictures.

"Photos were chosen to offer the American people with transparency into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's network and his exceptionally alarming activities," the release says.

The release also includes several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in black ink across different parts of a female's body, including her torso, foot, pelvis, and rear. Lolita recounts the account of a minor who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

An example of a quote from the work scrawled across a female's chest states, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of images of women's passports and ID papers from states around the world, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the documents, such as names and birth dates, is obscured but the committee indicated in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

A further photograph shows Epstein sitting at a desk closely surrounded by three women whose identities have been redacted - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and another is leaning to view a close-by laptop. Epstein seems to be helping the third attach a bracelet.

A further photo disclosed is a screenshot of digital messages from an unnamed sender who claims they have been provided "some girls" and are asking for "$1000 for each individual".

Photo Release Arrives Before DOJ Due Date

The committee has many thousands of photos in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its statement on recently clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The images and files the Epstein estate's representatives submitted to the committee are different than what is largely referred to "the Epstein documents". Those are papers within the Department of Justice's control associated with its independent inquiry into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which Donald Trump signed into law recently, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its records. The scope of what's found in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's probable that much of the information will be heavily redacted, akin to Congressional releases
